First time in my entire life I ever experienced being stranded. I was scared to death. =_= No one anticipated the effects of the typhoon Ondoy. Classes were suspended at 12 pm, our professor still conducted a last-minute lecture. We were supposed to stay at school until 6.30 pm for our project, but we decided to cancel it because of the situation. When we got down from our building, we were so shocked to see our school immersed in flood >_> Never in my entire life have I experienced our school being flooded. We crossed through the chairs that were lined up by the maintenance staff. Then we crossed another 2 sets of made-up bridges to get out of school. Too bad our camera was with our sister,

, who is in Bicol right now for their tour. We could've taken pictures to show everyone

Anyways, the Mendiola footbridge was flooded too. It was overflowing with water from the flooded street in Legarda and with the water from the sewers. yuck x_x aaaand the adventure wasn't over O: The LRT station was soooo crowded! O: and we had to wait in a loooooong line. After a while, we got on and we saw while on the train, the flood in Pureza reached upto their waists. When we got off from V. Mapa station, we were shocked to find out that it was flooded as well! D: it was so deep that it reached chest level -_- we were able to pass through because some people were ferrying people with a fee of Php10 per person. We went to the mall, SM Sta. Mesa for shelter and got stranded there. The food court was completely immersed in flood. The flood outside was so deep people, even vehicles are unable to pass. Even the stoplight was almost immersed in the flood! O: every now and then we called on the phone to contact our Dad, who did repeated failed attempts to fetch us. We spent the night at the mall along with a few hundred people. They opened cinemas 6 & 9 for a place to stay in. Luckily they reopened the department store in the 2nd floor and we were able to buy slippers, snacks and water. We had a really hard time, especially because we [

and me] were protecting our laptops x_x Then people were sleeping in the corridors, others were inside the cinemas. We also spent our night there. It was so hard to cringe and find a comfortable spot to sleep in, and at the same time protecting your valuables. Around 12pm, the flood still wasn't going down. I was so scared and worried about my family that I was almost crying D: Soooo, the night went on and at around 5am,

woke me up and told me that the flood has subsided and our dad was on his way to fetch us. We got home at around 5.30am. I am so thankful to be at home right noooow =_= That was one heck of a experience I'd never like to experience again =_= To think that that typhoon was only signal number 1 *dies*
